    About Mwila Chriseddy Bwanga

    Mwila’s Story

    Born in Chingola and refined in Lusaka, Mwila Chriseddy Bwanga is one of Zambia’s committed young leaders with an unwavering passion for service and people-driven leadership. He believes deeply in a democracy where citizens shape decisions, influence leadership, and collectively determine the future of their communities. Mwila holds a Degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Lusaka, where he also served as Student Union President. His leadership journey began early in secondary school when he was elected Head Boy of Chingola Secondary School—demonstrating a lifelong commitment to responsible leadership and civic participation.

    Mwila’s Impact and Works

    Throughout his work, Mwila has consistently championed youth development, women’s empowerment, and a form of politics that brings real change into people’s lives. He has supported and empowered over 5,000 young people across Lusaka District, donated school desks to learners in his hometown in support of free education, advocated for youth and women inclusion in decision-making spaces, and consistently contributed to community development wherever he has lived and served. He is a recognised leader within Zambia’s civil society space and was awarded a Governance Accomplishment Award during the 2020 National Youth Awards hosted by the National Youth Development Council.

    Mwila is an aspiring Member of Parliament for Lusaka Central and stands as a voice of reason for a new generation of leaders—leaders who believe that representation must be close to the people and rooted in lived realities rather than political rhetoric. His vision is a constituency where leadership listens, engages, and works hand-in-hand with communities toward real development and meaningful change.
